Photo tours for the adventurous...

Tripod Travels provides photographic workshops and tours with a difference. With small groups of only six participants and two experienced professional photographers on hand, Tripod Travels places an emphasis on providing help and guidance to each individual to improve their technical and creative skills during the tour.

Our tours are for people interested in practising their photography in stunning landscapes, including some that are off the beaten track and not already photographed to death. Even where we do take you to a well-known spot, we'll be helping you to find something that little bit different.

Tour leaders Alex Hare and Lizzie Shepherd will take you to carefully researched locations where you can witness some spectacular scenery in all kinds of light and weather. Anyone of any level of experience is welcome to join us - all you need is your camera and your spirit of adventure. Next tour: the amazing Vikos Gorge in Greece - join us there in May 2012! Other trips planned for next year include the wild and dramatic scenery of the Scottish Isle of Lewis, and the heather-clad North Yorkshire Moors and coast in August.
